Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to the Internetworking Indonesia Journal (IIJ). All submissions will first be assessed by an editor to determine whether they are aligned with the journal’s aims and scope. Manuscripts that are considered suitable will be sent for peer review before an editorial decision is made.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are responsible for ensuring that all materials included in the submission may be legally and ethically published. This includes, where relevant, permissions for the use of photos, figures, tables, documents, datasets, or any third-party material. All listed authors must have agreed to be identified as authors and must have approved the submitted version of the manuscript. Where applicable, research involving human participants, organizations, sensitive data, or regulated materials should have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the country in which the study was conducted.

The editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet the journal’s minimum standards for quality, relevance, originality, or presentation. Before submitting, authors should ensure that the manuscript has a clear research purpose, appropriate study design, coherent argument, and sufficient contribution to the relevant field. The title should be concise and informative, while the abstract should clearly summarize the purpose, method, findings, and contribution of the study.

Manuscript Template

All manuscripts must be prepared using the official IIJ Manuscript Template in MS Word format. The template follows the IEEE two-column journal format and should be used from the initial submission stage.

Manuscripts that do not follow the required template may be returned to the authors for correction before editorial screening or peer review.

The template is available here: IIJ Template

Manuscript Length

Manuscripts must not exceed ten pages in the IIJ Template, including figures, tables, and references.
